Vanquis does what it says on the tin: it helps build or repair your credit – but only if you use it wisely. If you’re organised, pay on time, and don’t overspend, it can be a stepping stone to better financial options in the future. But it’s definitely not a card to rely on for everyday spending unless you’re confident you can clear the balance regularly. Reviewed on: 16th April 2025
