They process everything efficiently and always answer every query, no matter how minor, patiently and diligently. They listen to you the customer and are always on your side, consistently providing excellent A1 customer service.

HSBC are somewhat slow to respond to changes, e.g. the pandemic, where we applied for a mortgage holiday, it took them TWO MONTHS to respond, acknowledge and grant our request.
Also they are very hard to contact by email or phone. Their message is always JUST KEEP PAYING!! This is not always possible me!
