Ridiculously slow to process mortgage applications

2 months+ I waited for a decision on my mortgage application! The most agonising, frustrating wait I've ever endured... and for something as important as this. Everything fell through and I was left with no other options. Oh, and I got stung for ~£439 in fees and still trying to find out if this will be refunded, but I can't get through to talk to anyone...! Avoid at all costs, I know things are 'difficult' right now but the 2 months wait seriously affected my mental well-being... disgraceful. Reviewed on: 10th August 2022
