Have had a policy with Elephant for the last year, no issues and had the account set so it specifically didn’t auto-renew. Got my renewal quote, which was double last years, so I didn’t renew. Apparently even though I specifically requested NOT to auto renew, they did anyway and took the payment yesterday. Complained and not only will they not refund this, they’ve charged me £55 cancellation charge! Will be reporting to the financial ombudsman
