No support for vulnerable customers

They closed my bank account without informing me or giving me any notice. I understand they have the right to do that but they are withholding our funds & yet demanding we pay our mortgage which is also held with them. I have already told them I have having the worst time with my health and the stress of trying to get it resolved has caused my physical and mental health to deteriorate. They’ve made no effort to understand what I am going through of what I need for support. Treated like criminals when we haven’t even done anything wrong! They simply do not care about their vulnerable customers and do not want to investigate anything properly and fairly. They have broken three parts of their own terms and conditions so just shows what a waste of time they are. Reviewed on: 12th February 2025

Good interest on current account balance.

Good interest on current account balance. Like that you get interest on the savings spaces too, I've moved away from other savings accounts that were paying less and here I can just quickly move money between my savings and my current account. Being able to use the card on holiday without fees is good too. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2024

They make accessing funds difficult

Had an awful experience here trying to withdrawn funds from a help-to-buy ISA. It turns out if you don't have a current account then they make it nearly impossible to access your funds. I spent hours on the phone trying to sort this out. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2024

Poor interest rates & poor customer service

Poor interest rates, can get much higher interest rates elsewhere with better customer service and access. I've tried getting help before and they contact centre is rubbish hours and branch access doesn't help when you need to work. They seem to only be interested in pensioners who can go to their branches. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2024

Easy to set up, great app that's easy to use.

Easy to set up, great app that's easy to use. Customer service has always been available when needed without having to wait hours or getting through to an overseas contact centre like other banks do. They seem to listen to customer's and update the app with new features and make the interface better. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2024
