Made to feel like a criminal

Our claim has still not been settled. Ryan Direct underwrite Direct Dial online insurance. Have not made a claim for years and when we did need help were questioned as if by the police themselves. We have not given up and will go to the ombudsman. Avoid having to use at all costs. Check who underwrites any 'cheap' insurance. Reviewed on: 30th August 2017

Dreadful experience

My experience with this 'outfit' was diabolically poor. They acted as Underwriter for Saga Household claims. I made a claim and the way they handled it was shockingly poor. It was akin to a market trader - they wanted to reduce the claim and avoid their proper responsibility and liability under the terms of my policy. Try, if you can, to avoid Saga and or Ryan Direct at all cost. Reviewed on: 3rd August 2017

Poor Service Deliver

Terrible experience We put in a claim to Ryan Direct Insurance after storm Doris over 3 months ago and I have never seen a company that treat people with total contempt. It started well when we got in touch and the helpdesk said, we have emergency policy and they will send a guy out. The person came out and assess the damage and got back to the insurance company and told us it was indeed a storm damage. A week went by and nothing happened. When we called the guy he said he ...
