Consumer credit awards winners 2024

Today we revealed the winners of our Consumer credit awards 2024 in a digital announcement on our LinkedIn and X channels.

This year’s awards have been highly competitive, with over 120,000 reviews left for the 17 categories across 18 weeks.

Money Wellness was awarded both ‘Company of the year’ and ‘Customer service champion’ in the awards as the result of UK consumers leaving a review for the company on Smart Money People.

Car finance provider, First Response Finance, won the ‘Best car finance provider’ for a fourth consecutive year, with PayPal Credit winning 'Best retail finance provider' for the third year running.

Meanwhile, East Kilbride Credit Union was awarded ‘Treating customers fairly champion’.

Commenting on the results, CEO of Smart Money People Jacqueline Dewey said: “The ongoing challenging economic environment has placed considerable pressure on the credit industry with more consumers relying on credit to support their day-to-day living expenses. Our awards recognise those companies and their teams who continue to go above and beyond to support their customers during this difficult time.”
