I opened a regular savings account. I couldn't do this online & had to download app. App told me I could open it online or... I opened a regular savings account. I couldn't do this online & had to download app. App told me I could open it online or on app but still couldn't find out how to do it online. Opened account on app. don't want to rely only on app in case phone gets stolen/lost so tried to open online account and add reg savings account to that. Got through all 3 screens worth of input when site simply said 'registration failed'. No details of any sort or advice on what to do next. I tried the forgotten password routine, which told me I had got the Unique ID or account number wrong, despite copying and pasting them both from the document emailed to me by Mon BS. The big issue for me is transfers not reaching my Monmouthshire account in a timely fashion. This morning I sent a bank transfer from a well known High Street Bank, electronically, at 7.15am. Now, at 5pm the same day, it still has not been credited to my Monmouthshire account. I think this will stop me opening further accounts with them.
