My wife and I have been regular savers with Monmouthshire Building Society over several years currently holding several savings accounts but NO MORE. It seems according to your staff unless you save through your new APP you can no longer open a savings account other than visiting a Branch. So, if you are elderly, like us 78 years of age, live the other side of the country and do not want to save via an App we will be looking elsewhere with one of their competitors who will no doubt welcome our business. We increased the interest in our savings by splitting our account into 2 ISAs, a Bond and a Savings account. It only took 1.5 hours.

As a saver i find the interest rates paid are lower than average. Also things like annual interest for tax purposes being provided by letters...
