I’m using a business account with mettle and its good and user friendly. You can easily categorise your transactions. But i would recommend to update international transactions option as well so one could use only 1 account for all activities. Reviewed on: 4th April 2026

Clear & simple to use, plus Freeagent software

I use Mettle as a business account as it provides me with the FreeAgent software that I need to run my accounts for tax purposes. It has been incredibly easy to set up and use and I like tte ease of transferring money between pots within the account. Notifications are useful, it is well set out and easy to navigation my iPhone. Mettle, great product and customer service!

I've been using Mettle since 2022 and can't fault them, on the very few occasions I've needed to speak to customer service, they've dealt with my queries/issues immediately, always in a professional but friendly manner. The inclusion of the FreeAgent accounting software is another bonus which helps my business run smoothly, hopefully i won't jinx myself but I've never had any reason to fault the level of service provided by Mettle. I have been blown away by the positive experience of switching my business bank account to Mettle. It has been so easy and the benefits are above and beyond what I expected from free accounting software to recommendation bonuses.
