Mettle does everything I want my business bank account to do. From automated transfers to my pots whenever I receive a payment to the simplicity of their payment system. It makes running a business easy with the added bonus of FreeAgent accountancy software which saves a lot of money. Reviewed on: 1st May 2026

Perfect for a low turnover freelancer like me

I'm a freelance sole-trader, and find that Mettle is perfect for my needs - being free and compatible with MTD software (FreeAgent) is great for my relatively low turnover business, and I have always found I can get the support I need when having a problem. Love this Bank and App

I have been with Mettle for several years now, the communication is excellent and done in a friendly personal way that makes you feel part of something special. So far I have never had any issues involving my account, transactions run smooth as does the app. At present I have a very high regard for this Bank, long may it continue.
