I've been with Mettle for 3 years and the very start of my business. The app is so easy to use, and the link with FreeAgent to categorise and track my income and expenses keeps me on track for my HMRC return. When I've had a small issue, the team are helpful, easy to talk to and soon get everything sorted out. I've recommended Mettle to several friends too and they all say the same. Ok, better now it is a real account as previous incarnation lacked functionality. I also had to close that account when the type changed rather than keeping the same details, causing inconvenience and payment delays. Reviewed on: 26th March 2026

As a small business I want a fuss free easy view of my finances. Mettle links to my accounting app which makes transactions link automatically . I love the pots so that I can ringfence tax and have an accurate view of my cash flow. It’s a real bonus that I can have a savings pot receiving interest. Reviewed on: 26th March 2026

Excellent and Easy to Use App!

Excellent app, allows you to organise transactions and recipes accordingly. You can easily connect invoices to incoming payments and by being able to categorise your transactions makes it extremely useful for your accountant! Reviewed on: 26th March 2026
