A good all-rounder!

Very helpful customer service in app when I had an issue and was resolved quickly. I like the way it can spilt my money into pots so I know where to set money aside for tax and upcoming bills. Clear system to navigate. Reviewed on: 29th April 2026

Perfect for a low turnover freelancer like me

I'm a freelance sole-trader, and find that Mettle is perfect for my needs - being free and compatible with MTD software (FreeAgent) is great for my relatively low turnover business, and I have always found I can get the support I need when having a problem. Love this Bank and App

I have been with Mettle for several years now, the communication is excellent and done in a friendly personal way that makes you feel part of something special. So far I have never had any issues involving my account, transactions run smooth as does the app. At present I have a very high regard for this Bank, long may it continue. **Great banking service for business** I’ve been using Mettle and I’m very happy with it. The app is convenient, clear, and very intuitive — it’s easy to find and complete any task without unnecessary hassle. I especially love the integration with FreeAgent, which makes managing finances and accounting much easier for a business.
