Consistently excellent service

I have been through several cycles of re-mortgaging and additional borrowing with the Monmouthshire Building Society and have always found them to be efficient, responsive, friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Reviewed on: 10th June 2026

This is the second time we have dealt with Leon and...

This is the second time we have dealt with Leon and in truth will keep coming back for our BTL needs because of him. He's professional and courteous but also kind and friendly. He makes the whole process as smooth as possible and dare I say enjoyable. Reviewed on: 8th June 2026

Anita Morgan was most helpful

i dealt with Anita Morgan as my Mortgage Advisor, she was extremely helpful, answered all of my questions clearly and explained thing clearly if i was confused. Nothing was too much trouble and I was kept fully informed throughout the process. Reviewed on: 4th June 2026

Had a brilliant experience with Anita and the other...

Had a brilliant experience with Anita and the other lady I spoke with on the phone - thank you both so much! You made my remortgage a lot less stressful than I thought it was going to be! All my questions asked and future help offered for when we look to take our money from our equity. The only feedback I would give is that I tried to call multiple times across a few days and was unable to get through. I left a voicemail in the end and requested a callback which I was advised would be within 48 hours. I received the call back the next day but missed due to work commitments and there was no VM left and no second attempt at a call back. This resulted in me calling again to confirm it was MBS who had called me and requesting another call back and then also emailing Anita, who I had previously had a meeting with for some borrowing advice. A bit of a frustrating process but I understand you are very busy and I’m grateful for Anita and the other lady for contacting me and getting my remortgage sorted quickly! Reviewed on: 21st May 2026

My mortgage advisor Anita was so helpful and explained everything in detail so I fully understood what I was taking on and more importantly what I can afford. New mortgage deal

telephone calls with Leon Jenkins to arrange a new mortgage deal. Leon understood my situation and came up with some suitable products, he fully explained each product. There was no hard sales talk, he was very open and friendly. Reviewed on: 9th May 2026
