I was so worried about my debt they took all my details and contacted all the people I owed put a payment plan in place this was taken out on the 21/5/2021 I have paid two off three to go and should finish all payments by January 2027 any problem they sort it all out which I had one with the selling of one debt but they sorted and the new company that had the debt were great. StepChange have helped me become debt free, I completed the budget form and entered in the amount that I owed and they gave me a plan to pay off my debt in a way I could manage. They contacted credit card companies and asked them to waive interest fees, which meant I could pay off my debt, without the balance increasing due to fees, which is the very stressful part, paying off a credit card and not seeing the balance reducing because of interest. Whenever I contacted StepChange the customer service was always helpful, sympathetic, friendly, kind and non-judgemental.
