Stepchange was a real lifesaver for me. Felt overwhelmed by debt but was able to easily sort a DMP with Stepchange. This has left me with a realistic monthy payment and I will clear my debts in a reasonable timeframe. This would not have happened before. The service is quick and reletively easy to set up and when ive needed to speak to someone theyve been great freindly and very helpful ..only one moan i wish the correspondence was more as in i was getting letters from banks etc with final notice and was concerned until i spoke with someone .i know you cant answer every question but a Q and A sort of pamphlet would be good and might save alot of phone calls [just an idea] Reviewed on: 2nd June 2026
