Review of the Vanquis, Credit Building Credit Card:

My wallet companion.

My first experience of using a Vanquis credit card was a little bit worrying simply because of the thought of getting into debt, I had to use the card to replace and essential household item, as I didn't have the spare funds at the time, but on using the card, I found that the repayments were not as bad as I first thought that they may have been, I then used it a couple of more times, and as the credit limit for my financial state rose, I found that I could buy the items and treat myself to things that I would not normally have been able to afford, I have come to appreciate my Vanquis card being in my wallet/possession along with my regular bank cards knowing that if I see an item that I want or need I can treat myself. I would also add that some may feel that the APR repayment rate is high I have been offered a lower APR rate, which I put down to being a loyal customer of Vanquis and find this really works for me and my situation, rather than using credit and getting into debt this has done the opposite for me and feel I get great value for money, when making monthly payments it's simple and straightforward and any contact I've had with customer services has always been a pleasant and polite experience. And knowing that my purchases are covered is one less thing to worry about when making purchases. Reviewed on: 15th June 2024
