Vanishing Growth Bond

Had a Growth bond which matured on a Monday. When I went online to carry out maturity instructions on the Saturday I was confronted with a zero balance with no information as to where my money had gone and no way of finding out. In this age of fraud and scams I was worried. I put in a complaint due to the stress I had suffered over the weekend. The person investigating the complaint, in my opinion, did not take the complaint seriously as there was no sign of a small gesture of goodwill which a decent, professional company would have not hesitated to offer Reviewed on: 29th January 2026

Review of the M&S Bank - Marks and Spencer, Pet insurance:

Immoral price increases at review.

They have no qualms whatsoever in making their pet insurance prohibitively expensive at renewal by doubling the premium. This forces many pet owners like myself to cancel the insurance on the grounds of affordability and leaves an elderly pet without the treatment they have become dependent upon. This is in my opinion the height of animal cruelty and it is not treating vulnerable customers fairly either. If they are so concerned about a specific condition then this should be excluded from inception. Reviewed on: 13th December 2024
