Being scammed?

Two years ago I had a problem with a tenant not paying her rent. Long story short she ended up owing me around £1250. In trying to find a solution I came across Are You Owed Money and after a very helpful phone call signed up with the promise that if they recovered my money they'd also tag on the fee to the debtor so I wouldn't be out of pocket there either. Fast forward some months and they eventually got the debtor to pay up with a payment scheme. And that's where my problems ... Reviewed on: 9th January 2025
