Shocking treatment and left thousands in debt

In July 2025, one of One Call’s customers crashed into my legally parked car in Portsmouth. From the start, the experience has been nothing short of stressful and unfair. It took them two weeks to collect my car, leaving my family (with two young children) in limbo, unsure whether we’d have a vehicle. Communication was terrible — I was never clearly told my car was being written off. Instead, I was just handed a settlement figure and pressured to make a decision. I owe over £18,000 on my Jaguar finance, but they only offered £12,000, leaving me with a £6,000 debt through no fault of my own. How is that fair? To make matters worse, on the day of a family wedding, they suddenly recalled the hire car they had provided. I had to pay £104 out of pocket to cover travel costs at the last minute. The whole process has been handled with a lack of care, poor communication, and zero fairness. Instead of supporting a family who has already suffered because of their customer’s negligence, they’ve added unnecessary financial and emotional strain.
