This company told me that because my daughter had had some counselling (which I’d arranged off my own back and not through the doctor), that she must have some underlying mental health issue! I informed them that I got her the counselling to talk through my husband and my break up, and that there was no underlying issues. They would not insure me based on this! Seeing as counselling in and out of school is as common practice as getting a massage/or going to meditation, I am disgusted that they don’t realise that this is common place in the UK! She’s 8, and has no issues! The counselling simply helped her to process things. I’m flabbergasted!
