Review of the InvestEngine, Investment Platform:

Impressive

I have been a customer of InvestEngine for 9 months, and I am very impressed with what they do. I opened up a general investment accounts and picked one of their “Growth” plans. This means InvestEngine manage the plan on your behalf. This is ideal for the newcomer to investing, who may feel uncertain about choosing their own funds. InvestEngine do offer a “Do It Yourself” option where you pick the funds yourself. I will be opening my ISA with them, using this option, this next financial year. The InvestEngine mobile app is well laid out, is uncluttered, whilst providing all the key information a customer needs to know about their plan. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2022

Review of the Freetrade, Online Share Dealing:

Superb!

The Freetrade experience is a tremendously good one for the investing beginner. The app is well laid out, money is very easily deposited, and trades can be conducted in a matter of seconds. The discover tab within the app is an excellent feature and shows the user popular stocks, alongside other sub-divisions such as recently added stocks, green energy, and tech titans for example. Really useful if you want to see options in particular areas of investment. The big advantage of Freetrade is its commission free trading, which was the big plus point for me. It provides an easy, and cost efficient way, to invest in ETFs and stocks. The app is really secure, and employs face identification to access your portfolio. You can also get free shares by recommending friends to the app. One quibble I would have is the inability to buy shares in whole units, rather than fractions. It’s frustrating when you get 1.15079 of a share for example. I really would recommend Freetrade to the investing novice and expert. Wealthify Stands Out

In a hugely competitive arena, Wealthify stands out from the rest for its superb customer service and a great track record. I needed some support opening my account, and their customer service team were extremely helpful, guiding me through the process, and assisting me with an offer I had at the time. They respond to messages very quickly. Wealthify inform customers of any changes they are making to allocation of funds in your plan, and regularly send an informative newsletter by email. The Wealthify website lets you set a level of risk you are most comfortable with, and provides some great information on where your money is invested. Reviewed on: 26th January 2020
