Monzo Flex is an excellent way to access credit and get good credit management skills. I can easily spread my balance over 3 months, 6 months or more. I can easily see my total balance and individual balances. I can pay off a payment early, or make an additional payment or clear a balance in full at any time. Reviewed on: 18th January 2024

Help to save

The Help to Save account is an amazing opportunity for many people. No where else gives you the opportunity to earn 50% on the money you save. Every month I put away £50 and each time I know I'm earning an extra £25, which will allow me to take my children on holiday abroad in 2 years time without having to stress about money. I'd never be able to give them an experience like this without the HMRC Saver. Plus the app is actually really very good as gives me a clear overview of everything I have with them in one spot. I've recommended it a million times! Reviewed on: 5th March 2023

Mortgage

My first home was mortgaged with Halifax and my current home is mortgaged with NatWest. I never had a bad word to say about Halifax but I would say that NatWest have been more incontact. The app is really quite good as I can see exactly where my mortgage stands and I can access this at anytime, their call centre staff seem knowledgeable and the waiting time hasn't been too long when I've needed to phone. The only thing I would say is that some of their processes are a bit in the stone age... Like having to send a written letter in to update your contact details? There's no real reason why the call centre staff should be prevented from updating your details over the phone but I suppose it did make me find out where my local postbox is! Easy to use app

5
The Capital One credit card has the easiest credit card app I've ever had. It's clear and very easy to make manual payments on, in comparison to other credit card companies that seem to like making it a mission instead of nice and easy. Access to your credit score is a nice little bonus. Reviewed on: 5th March 2023

Fantastic Service

The flex account system with Monzo has really put me in control of my lending and budgeting. I can spread the cost of a purchase over 3, 6, 9, or even 12 months! I can make extra payments that come off at the end or pay my monthly payment early anytime I like, I can also clear the balance in full with no admin charges. I also like how it's really clear about how much you pay in interest and how much you save when you pay the balance early. It's just super clear! Reviewed on: 5th March 2023
