Yes, waiting time on the phone can exceed 20 minutes. Totally unprofessional operator handling my accident clam- careless lorry driver threw or didn't secure plastic canister which rolled onto the lan3 I was driving on motorway, couldn’t do much as lanes were busy and car travelled behind me so had to run it over damaging my car. I Broken front bumper and damaged front wings with scratch on the door according to Provident qualified as write off ??! (Drove back 12 miles slowly as engine control lamp was on). They said it which would trigger giving me replacement car I had on a separate policy. Had to put the complaint to get it and later when engineer did assessment of course car is repairable. It has been 3 weeks and still they can't authorised repair garage with waiting time less than 2 months. Call handler denied that during first call they classified the car as not repairable. There is a reason why garages don't want to deal with them. Lack of empathy, lying (had to complain to receive apologise from some managerial jockey). Once this accident is sorted I immediately changing insurance company. Avoid this shambolic company. Reviewed on: 12th April 2023
