We were unfortunate to have our dog hit by a car - quite a severe broken leg. Our vets gave him pain relief and care whilst they assessed the damage, then booked him into a surgery in the region that deals with treatments that aren't straight forward. As expected, the bill would have been £1,000's, but we didn't even see a bill. Both Veterinary Surgeries got their fees paid directly with only a relatively small excess for us to cover. Very happy that he's still going strong.
