My policy cost £624 annually!! I could have saved myself the grief and expense by changing to another insurer with far higher, four star ratings. For some reason I was loyal to this company for years!! Yet never on the very few occassions I needed assistance were they " able " to help me. Their policies are a very expensive rip off, and you get no help when you need it most, when you are at your wits end. I don't think five stars given are genuine. Not consistent with the majority of peoples' experiences here. A lot of excuses are made by Halifax to get out of paying for even emergency repairs. It's easy to switch insurers, which is what I did today. No more money down the drain! Very happy!
