I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Wirex. After closing my account with a significant balance, they have failed to respond to any of my emails. Despite the lack of a customer support phone number, I sent a legal notice in an attempt to claim my funds. This resulted in my account being unblocked, but Wirex disabled faster payments and Sepa payments, making it impossible for me to transfer my money through the app.
When I tried to transfer funds using the Wirex Crypto wallet, the transfers remained pending for an extended period and ultimately never went through. Wirex initially claimed that the money had been sent, but later admitted that the transfer did not complete due to technical issues. Subsequently, they ceased responding to my emails and support requests for two weeks, leaving me in the dark about the status of my 31700 GBP.
After more than two weeks of silence, they finally sent me a letter stating that they are working on resolving the issue. I urge others to investigate their actions as there are numerous similar verified reviews on Trustpilot detailing their illegal and fraudulent behavior.
