I had my insurance with Haven for 2 years with no problem. I got a new plate all transfered by DVLA, I tried to update on their portal but it would not let me and it just said policy active. I was stopped by the Police a few months ago and after a conversation with the insurance company they let me go and said it must just be a computer glitch. I have just been pulled over by a Police officer again and after he finally got through to them they said that as of now they will terminate my contract meaning I will not be insured as of tomorrow. I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of communication on their part as I have never at any stage been told to contact them. I put my trust in their portal to be designed in a way that is reliable to notify customers to contact them if there is something that is not acceptable by their company terms. It has done me a favour as I have now been insured by a company that has direct contact and an app that has direct chat with a company rep. Awfully disappointed at the way they handled this but they have just lost a customer who would have remained loyal for the long haul!
