asked for to much information

1
Progressive Money I applied for a loan was shocked for the amount of information they asked for they kept asking me for more information to be declined after 6 weeks off messing.. I was shocked that any agent could get in my credit file and was telling me what was on it they asked for 3 months wage slips bank statements proof of address photo I.D letters of proof form work of my hours they went through my bank statement with a fine tooth comb and they know everything about me then declined me they lied to me they let me down and since then i have had fraud on unwanted texts and emails this company is not to be trusted. They don't care that people are having hard times they add to the stress i have had a complaint open waiting for a final response letter so i can take action as i want to know what they intend doing wit all my private details oh and they have my bank details and card number.. I am sorry but a loan company should not ask for so much information they can do a credit check and decide they did not listen i told them there was things on my credit file that did not belong to me and showed proof but they still counted them and they would not listen and they counted the whole bills paid by me on the house even though my ex partner pays half and i got nasty staff not listening hanging up on me and one had the bare cheek to ask for mt ex-partners bank statement.. Save yourself the trouble i wasted weeks trying to sort my life out spent time giving them all the information they could want each time they asked for more..This is not about being declined its about them asking for to much of my private information and ant Tom Dick and Harry seeing it on the computer there is no protection on people's account and its made me feel unsafe seeing i already had my identity stolen last year and then a loan company can get so much details in proof..
