Good points, applications I dealt with by human being, not an algorithm. Loans and overdrafts at very low rates. Drawbacks slow response time, limited number of branches and only in London. Clearance time for cheques is 40 days

Customer service excellent, ability to create up to 20 accounts under one sub account heading it's very useful. Virtual card also very useful. Media access to services, once application approved. Drawbacks are inability to pay cash in to a savings or a current account, which is being addressed later on the in the year

Been with his bank organisation 1985. It's a building society rather than a bank, but provides dividends to its members, who are also account holders. Only downsides are overdraft rates of 42%, which are requirements from the bank of England, and customer service phone lines for flex account customers can be very slow. The FlexPlus and premium rate accounts receive a much quicker response.
