Review of the first direct, Fixed Rate Mortgage:

First direct came up the best deal on comparison site. I already have a current account with First Direct and have never had any problems, always able to get in touch when required and quickly. This was the first time i have taken on a remortgage myself as i have always went through a broker. It was really simple, i got my AIP, i then had a call with my mortgage advisor and we went through what i was looking for and what suited me best. Advisor was friendly and happy to go into any in further detail that i may not have grasped initially. The remortgage went very smooth, i cant believe how quick it all was and the best thing again is being able to speak to someone within a matter of minutes, whereas my last provider had just changed and trying to get through to them took 1hr 34 mins. Best card ever

I have used my Revolut card in Turkey, Ireland and in the Caribbean and it is amazing, so simple to use, just pay as you normally would with a bank card and it does everything for you, you can see your payments straight away on the App, no charges what else can you ask for. You can use it everyday in the UK, you can transfer in and out of the account, it really is amazing. Anytime i have had to speak to someone this has been instant also Reviewed on: 18th April 2024
