Read the fine print before buying insurance from them

We were one of many families affected by the service interruptions at London Stansted Airport on the 11th of May, 2025. We ended up missing... We were one of many families affected by the service interruptions at London Stansted Airport on the 11th of May, 2025. We ended up missing out on our flight to Albania and the entire holiday because of the IT issues at the airport. While other insurance providers were happy to provide a cover for the loss(I know because I had friends travelling with me who missed their holiday due to the same reason and their insurance provider reimbursed them) due to the unexpected circumstances, HolidaySafe chose to shun us away saying that this does not fall under a mechanical breakdown at the airport's/airline's or public transport end. Safe to say I am never buying travel insurance from them again. Read more Read less

    When we had to make a claim, I found Holidaysafe to be friendly, helpful and prompt. I do find the website a bit clunky though.... If you are going through the process to get a quote and make a mistake with a prescription drug, you can't edit the screen but have to start the whole quote process again. Read more Read less

    The best cover for travel insurance.

    I researched a number of other providers of travel insurance and none of them were as attractive in regard to cost and the cover provided.... I researched a number of other providers of travel insurance and none of them were as attractive in regard to cost and the cover provided. It was easy to arrange online and was very pleased with the cover for my age and existing health concerns. I also saw its high ratngs on Which? Excellent. Read more Read less

    Reasonably priced cover for a retiree

    I am essentially retired and don't travel abroad as much as I used to. When I do arrange a trip I always get travel insurance....
