Review of the Pedalcover, Bike & Home Insurance:

Pedalcover is easily the best insurance for cyclists.

If you have looked at getting insurance for your expensive bikes with other companies you will have been dismayed at the high cost per bicycle. When you look at Pedalcover, you will instantly be surprised at the affordability of insuring several high value bikes AND you home. The total will probably be less than you are currently paying for your home alone. This then leads you to wonder how legitimate or reliable this insurance may be, and make you reluctant to leave your long term, well known yet much more expensive companies. Well, I took the plunge, and even though I have yet to find out how smoothly a claim might go (and hopefully won’t need to), every indication is that this is a good company to deal with. Contact is much faster and friendlier than with the big companies, plus they keep in touch with emails relating to aspects of cycling which may be relevant to you. I have no regrets switching to Pedalcover. Reviewed on: 23rd September 2022

Excellent customer service and great value

It's the first time I've needed bike insurance and the choice is vast, all with various stipulations and many different prices. Pedalcover has a simple menu of choices with clear, unequivocal requirements and excellent pricing. Reviewed on: 10th September 2022

Seriously good service and support

As tandem and solo riders for a lifetime (2000 miles the length of New Zealand in 2016 in our late 60s, anyone? Or 1000 miles around Scotland in 1979?), PedalCover are now proving the ideal insurers for us. Covering not just the house, but a whole stable of bikes from a bevy of Brompton folders through racers to eBikes and, yes, our tandem Daisy2. (Daisy1 was a vastly less well-engineered present for our wedding a millennium ago in 1977). Unusually good to have bikes at their full value and all the usual household stuff under one insurance roof. And the folk who run PC are seriously nice - even agreeing to extend our Daisy2 cover to include her new electric motor. Age creeping up... Reviewed on: 9th September 2022

Helpful customer service when choosing and setting up

When we wanted to set up a cycle only insurance for the first time this year we llok at various products. We chose Pedal Cover as they offered what we needed and their customer service was very helpful clarifying aspects. The only reason I have given top ratings is our experience is limited at present. The products they sell will put you at risk.

Friendly and helpful until you need them. If you need to claim for a bike they will try to fix your bike even if it increases the risk of serious injury to the rider. Reviewed on: 19th August 2022

Excellent

Amazing! I am delighted to confirm that Pedalcover insure the value of each individual bike, rather than a small sum which covers all bikes. They have also guaranteed the same level of house and contents insurance, using our previously choosen Insurance Company but slightly cheaper (whom we did make a claim to a few years ago).
