If you have looked at getting insurance for your expensive bikes with other companies you will have been dismayed at the high cost per bicycle.... If you have looked at getting insurance for your expensive bikes with other companies you will have been dismayed at the high cost per bicycle. When you look at Pedalcover, you will instantly be surprised at the affordability of insuring several high value bikes AND you home. The total will probably be less than you are currently paying for your home alone. This then leads you to wonder how legitimate or reliable this insurance may be, and make you reluctant to leave your long term, well known yet much more expensive companies. Well, I took the plunge, and even though I have yet to find out how smoothly a claim might go (and hopefully won’t need to), every indication is that this is a good company to deal with. Contact is much faster and friendlier than with the big companies, plus they keep in touch with emails relating to aspects of cycling which may be relevant to you. If you are a cyclist I wouldn’t recommend this cover, they refused to replace new for old which meant that we lost out on 100s....
