Never use this company - they have designed a nice website and masquerade as friendly B corp company but this essentially a facade. I had a policy with them when I had an issue they immediately passed me onto another random company. The staff were unhelpful, rude and tried every possible way to get out of paying what was a clear cut robbery. Read more Read less

Everything was going fine with Urban Jungle (for over 4 years) until we had to make a claim, then it was refusal and rejection. Our property was damaged by a third party hit & run driver when we were away from the property. We were told to provide details of the criminal activity (crime reference number, eye witness reports, CCTV & Images) and they insisted we get an independent out to get a quote for the damage. Only after we provided all this, with a monetary quote for the damage, did they insist that one of their affiliates view the damage. They then came back with 24 hours, rejecting the claim and citing wear and tear as the rejection reason. (The justification for this being Google Images of my property that displayed the pre-damaged property). Not a very professional reasoning to reject a claim. A further attempt to reopen the complaint was met with a similar response, with a screenshot of small print from their policy book as a reason for the continued rejection and them declaring the matter resolved. It seems they are happy, until you have to make a claim. I do wonder how many others have had similar responses. Read more Read less

    Uncaring and bizarre behaviour

I’m a set designer and rely on my laptop every single day for work, so when I lost both my laptop and bag on TfL, it was a huge deal. I did everything right: reported it to TfL (and got a reference), and also informed my insurer, Urban Jungle, since my policy covers accidental loss. I genuinely felt reassured knowing I was protected. Thankfully, someone handed in my bag and laptop. I immediately let Urban Jungle know I was no longer pursuing the claim—I hadn’t even submitted one formally—and was just relieved to have my work tools back. I’ve only ever made one claim in six years. Their response? They cancelled my insurance out of nowhere, citing vague concerns about my “account activity.” Again—I didn’t even claim. I acted honestly and responsibly, and this is how they chose to respond. No phone call, no conversation—just a cold, automated email. The whole thing feels careless and impersonal. Really poor service and a strange way to treat a long-standing customer. I can’t recommend them at all. Read more Read less
