Review of the Proplend, Peer to Business Lending:

Lower risk Autoinvest lending

Proplend highly regarded by the leading P2P review sites, Autoinvest Tranche A lower LTV first security investment is diversified lower risk option, to date no investor has lost a penny in A ( lower risk). Tranches B and C offer higher rates, LTVs hence higher risks. Investment should be ideally well spread multiple loans the P2P experts do suggest. Proplend are one of the best P2P lenders and seem to have high due diligence on borrowers and rightly so. I have never had any payments missed and platform offers great second market very high demand loans. Reviewed on: 27th March 2022

While you may think that they are very secure by vetting customers, I am suspecting that they ask for overwhelming ID verification to gain personal information more than necessarily. If you want someone easier to work with, don't even think about investing with Proplend. Reviewed on: 9th March 2021

In summary my review is neutral, one can't quite say much negative or indeed too positive about Proplend. It does what it says on the tin, but the tin is rather small. Low volume of deals means sophisticated investors seem to be flocking to other platforms like LendInvest. It's encouraging to see this happening in the P2P property space, just as it's happened for equity crowdfunding with Seedrs and to a lesser degree Crowdcube. Reviewed on: 12th August 2016
