Good start but my bank shocking

My bank wouldn't let me take out the savings account as they said it was fraudulent I had to spent a few weeks jumping though paperwork and three hour long calls to get things sorted. my bank rubbish no problems with Allica Reviewed on: 2nd April 2025

A fantastic Bank, Easy transactions and great Comms

I had a surplus of money in the company deposit account with Lloyds only earning 1% so decided to open a deposit account with Allica and another bank due to their good rates. Opening the Allica Bank account was almost instantaneous very efficient. A quick call gets you through to real people who actually answer the phone for queries and are really helpful. The application was easy to fill out and the communications from the team were great. I then applied to open a savings account with the other bank and compared to Allica it was like night and day It took over 2 weeks as their process is an antiquated inhouse/ postal system which they have tried to digitalize . Technical issues meant I couldnt see the money I had transferred. Allica Bank is way ahead in communications, process and systems so I would recommend them any day. Reviewed on: 2nd April 2025
