A fantastic Bank, Easy transactions and great Comms

I had a surplus of money in the company deposit account with Lloyds only earning 1% so decided to open a deposit account with Allica and another bank due to their good rates. Opening the Allica Bank account was almost instantaneous very efficient. A quick call gets you through to real people who actually answer the phone for queries and are really helpful. The application was easy to fill out and the communications from the team were great. I then applied to open a savings account with the other bank and compared to Allica it was like night and day It took over 2 weeks as their process is an antiquated inhouse/ postal system which they have tried to digitalize . Technical issues meant I couldnt see the money I had transferred. Allica Bank is way ahead in communications, process and systems so I would recommend them any day. Reviewed on: 2nd April 2025

Easy to set up online.

Easy to set up online. Transferred the money from business account to an annual savings account with Allica which offered a decent interest rate. I didn't speak to anyone it was all done online. Reviewed on: 2nd April 2025
