Don't answer the phone

Happy to take you money for a policy, but not very happy to answer the phone when you need to amend it and say it can't be done online or through the chat. As a result I have been spending plenty on their high cost line holding on for hours. GEt some more staff if you can't cope with call volumes or enable onlne mods to policies - not tricky! Charged twice for excess refused to pay expenses due to accident, cant claim personal accident as I'm not dead or lost a limb!

I had an accident whilst on holiday in Dubai that wasn't my fault that resulted in fractures to my ankle, foot and a torn ligament. I am still in a cast boot 8 weeks on and my business has suffered big losses as I cant do my role. Big blue refused to pay many of the out of pocket expenses I incurred, all they would cover was the cost of the medical treatment minus the £99 excess. Also my varifocal glasses were smashed so I had to buy replacement ones, however they will not pay the full cost of my glasses, have taken money off for wear and tear and also taken the excess of £99 off me again, so i have paid this excess twice, totalling £198! Apparently I can't claim for personal accident as I am not dead and have not lost a limb!?! Two months on and I am still in a cast boot, my business has lost loads of revenue and I am still in much pain. It has also taken them 2 months to settle this claim. Poor provider

The front end of the business comes across as 5 * - however the actually provider Global response are pathetic , read the trust pilot reviews nothing more than 1* . Shabby customer service & slow response times ( expect 12/ 14 weeks turn around on claims ) Then expect additional deductions from your settlement ( above & beyond your standard excess) - Cowboys no better than a pay day lender - STAY WELL CLEAR !!!
