Scam

I applied for a loan online with this company and they just took money from my account ,not even took money ,they reversed one of my debit orders as if i was the one who did it. They send you a barcode from Capitec for you to scan and open it, then your internet banking opens up ,then they ask you to generate a token password and if they have it ,they take your money,and if you call them .no answer. So guys please be aware of these scams ,these guys are good and know you are desperate. Reviewed on: 4th July 2023

Citrus Lenders/ Florida Ruined our chance of ever owning a home

Because of past credit problems we were referred to Citrus. They began lying to us on day one. We got an approval early into the process. They assured us that they were familiar with the SHIP/HUD program , but we found out that they are not registered with the federal govt. They are not a lender not a mortgage company, they are shoppers just like we can be. They sent out multiple credit requests and we ended up with multiple (14) hits against our credit within two weeks. We were notified on the night before closing and after 5pm that the lender had denied the loan. They did not have the courtesy to call us. They do not return calls or answer their phones. We were charged twice for the appraisal. They have ruined our chances of ever owning a home (we are both over 68) of our own, our credit reports are ruined. We almost lost everything because of them. They are rude and treat applicants like 3rd class citizens. Please save yourself the heartache and use a reputable lender. Reviewed on: 10th July 2017
