A loadable debit card which came as part of my Credit Union's account offer. Allowed me to get receive payments/wages when I was struggling to get a bank account quickly enough 10yrs ago. Did everything I needed it to except the set-up of Direct Debits, which was a deal breaker in the end. The UK based customer service phoneline was always excellent. Reviewed on: 2nd March 2025

Got an Engage debit card account, through a partner...

Got an Engage debit card account, through a partner credit union, when I was having difficulty getting a bank account a few years ago. Main disadvantage is that you can't set up direct debits. Great customer service though. Reviewed on: 26th May 2024

False advertising

I have been with engage for several years they constantly have problems giving you money at the atm machines also they are lying about cash back on purchases from argos sopposed to be 4% cash back on purchases at argos as stated on there website I have spent 1000 in argos with engage card never had a penny after days and numerous phone calls speaking to engage were unwilling to resove.
