Great for helping kids save

I have 2 kids with cards on go Henry. It has helped lots with pocket money and them being more aware of their spending. My oldest has gone from burning through money to saving up nearly £100 for a new Lego set. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2025

Learning how to spend and save

I have the peace of mind that the kids are learning money management at a young age through the app, as they don't get taught this at school. Having a card means I can manage and monitor their spending during the week, or block the card instantly if we think its lost! On school trips and holiday, I can increase their weekly spend limit and transfer some savings if they ask and they get the choice to spend more without me having to give extra. Because of the option to load up chores they can do to earn more pocket money, the kids have also started to help with bigger jobs around the house and my car is regularly cleaned! GoSidney!

Go Henry has been an amazing experience helping my little boy, Sidney learn all about saving and spending. We have a chart where Sidney can track his extra money he can earn all week through extra chores and then I load it onto his GH account - he loves seeing the money build! I also love the extra lessons it is giving him within the extra tasks pages on the app. I recommend GH to everyone! I also have a little savings account for him and an ISA which are super easy to use - gives me a little peace of mind to know I’ll have a bit of money saved for when he is older and hopefully in having a GH account since the age of 10 Sidney will be well prepared to make better financial choices in his adult life. GoHenry has been a game-changer for helping my 7-year-old understand the true value of money. He can clearly see what he has, and he’s learning how to grow that amount by completing tasks. The short, kid-friendly videos are a fantastic bonus, they cover budgeting, saving, and making smart spending choices in a way that really clicks. He’s already gone from “I need that now!” to “I’m going to save for it.” He loves the independence of using his card when we’re out shopping, and it’s amazing to see how self-aware he’s become with money. It has been fantastic for my son who’s 6 years old to learn about savings and to be able to see money coming into his account and then to be able to visualise what he does with it is fantastic! Everytime he has money transferred in we look and discuss how much he would like to save and how much he would like to spend and it’s really taught him that he doesn’t have to spend all of his pocket money at once!
