Not covered under faulty workmanship (which is a general exclusion!!!) or as a result of sealant or grout despite property only being 5 years old. Took 7 days to send out a surveyor to review the claim. He advised me that I did not have cover for 'trace and access', so I would not be able to claim for the work already done by the plumber to identify the leak. It turns out I do have additional cover for this and could claim up to £1,000. They do not work weekends and everything is handled within 3 workings days. So if you do have an issue - expect to be waiting a while for any resolution - if you are that lucky and they either don't lie or find a clause in your policy to not compensate. Read more Read less
