A great way to save

A great way to save money for larger purchases such as white goods,cars and holidays. You can't instantly transfer mo ey so you have to plan your purchase. Also not lining pockets of larger banks and helps the local community. Reviewed on: 24th June 2023

Lincs and Notts credit union are amazing making saving easy unlike some banks where they charge to take out your savings. Credit unions do not charge they are also local and community caring so anyone can save or take a loan with them. A great way to save and manage your money, which matters more than ever in the current economical crisis.

I have been saving with Nottingham Credit Union for over a decade. Savings come straight from my salary, which is perfect for me as I dont have to think about saving- its automated- consequently each month without me even thinking about it my savings pot is growing nicely! I absolutely love the option of having different accounts in which to save and i use all of them; the general savings account, Christmas savings account and holiday savings account. I also utilise the saving goals accounts to save for those emergencies that will inevitably pop up! Using the Nottingham Credit Union has really helped me with my saving goals and manage my money more effectively, which is so essential right now. I have also used the Credit Union's loan service, to consolidate a debt, this has resulted in me paying less each month and over a shorter time period, so a win on both fronts for me! The loan application process was simple and straight forward, and when i called to speak to staff about my application they were super helpful and friendly. So for me it is a 10/10 for the Nottingham Credit Union for their super helpful saving arrangements, which both encourage and motivate people to save, and their straight forward loan application process to support people to save money (stress and time!) through debt consolidation. Impressive

So many years and never a single issue. Website is straight forward and easy to use, the call line staff are kind and clear and get your sorted fairly quickly and efficiently. I have a savings acc and when I need to withdraw I know how and based on the time I do so I know when to expect to receive it thanks to your consistency. 10/10 for me and would 100% recommend. Easy Access Savings
