Great customer service and friendly legal advice

I had an incident a year back. It is still ongoing however the third party has now taken the case to high court. Octagon insurance have been dealing with the claim from the third party and are keeping me entirely informed of changes/ dates which i need to know about. Also their legal team is extremely good at making me understand the jargon used in many of the letters from the solicitors. Reviewed on: 26th September 2016

rubbish customer service

Still waiting on them sorting the crack in my sunroof but when calling customer services you get palmed off into different departments, staff says they are new or the computer is down, then they say they will call you back and they don't complete joke Reviewed on: 10th September 2016

Poor customer service

Thankfully as yet, I have not had to much contact with Octagon. I chose the company for my car insurance as for a short period of time, I moved to a high-risk car insurance area and so Octagon were the cheapest quote over the bigger names in the business. I have had to contact Octagon a couple of times and fond that the telephone number is a premium rate number so cost me fortune and the customer service is awful. When I spoke to a member of the team, each time, I got the impression they were having a bad day and really did not want to talk to me. Thanks Octagon. Only a month to go and I am rid of them. incompetence at its best

as a result of octagon and premium credit incompetence on a  matter of changing my direct debt payments date gave me seven days to pay the outstanding balance this was none of my fault. so I made complaint against octagon and the staff involved in this matter. Reviewed on: 9th August 2016

customer service is appalling, had my sunroof cracked on a carpark so called autoglass from octagons website, they arranged to come up but at the last minute they wopuldn't fit it because octagon haven't authorised it. Have been several calls over the last few weeks to either be on hold for ages, cut off, passed around to different departments and still it has not been arranged to get my sunroof repeared. some one was meant to call me back but nope Reviewed on: 19th July 2016

Good but too much parting out to other companies

Octagon themselves are a good company to buy from. Their customer service is prompt, and as I was local to their head office I was invited to swing by in person with any queries if I wanted to rather than email back and forth. Friendly, helpful staff. However when there was an issue with taking my payment they had parted the finance out to a third party who were dreadful, and this for me reflected back on Octagon. If they took more ownership of issues then I would happily give them a better rating. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Can't get in touch with them, phones go unanswered. Can't login online. I'm getting a new car and need to sort my insurance out and I can't. Dreadful. I would never use them again. Reviewed on: 28th February 2016
