Review of the Pedalcover, Bike & Home Insurance:

Pedalcover is easily the best insurance for cyclists.

If you have looked at getting insurance for your expensive bikes with other companies you will have been dismayed at the high cost per bicycle. When you look at Pedalcover, you will instantly be surprised at the affordability of insuring several high value bikes AND you home. The total will probably be less than you are currently paying for your home alone. This then leads you to wonder how legitimate or reliable this insurance may be, and make you reluctant to leave your long term, well known yet much more expensive companies. Well, I took the plunge, and even though I have yet to find out how smoothly a claim might go (and hopefully won’t need to), every indication is that this is a good company to deal with. Contact is much faster and friendlier than with the big companies, plus they keep in touch with emails relating to aspects of cycling which may be relevant to you. Great Company to deal with

Refreshing experience

I became a Pedalcover customer in December 2015. Darren was a pleasure to do business with, the policy was explained in detail and I was very happy to give Pedalcover my business. In December 2016 my cover was automatically renewed ( I'd forgotten about it) after an email prompt i checked my renewal quotation and was happy to renew for another year. ( No money was taken without authorisation, it's all done on mutual agreement ) I can't over state how happy I am that I did. Last week I crashed my brand new bike, literally on its maiden ride. I came off on black ice. Trashed the shifter, mech, pedals and several items of clothing. This happened at 08:00 by 08:30 I was talking to Charles at Pedalcover , three days later I had a cash settlement offer to cover the damage. Three days!! I was blown away at how efficiently Pedalcover dealt with my claim. I'm one of the unlucky ones who has needed to make a claim, and I can't fault the way Pedalcover responded. The claim handler was sympathetic but knowledgable. They know what cyclists need to get back on the road. I now have total confidence recommending Pedalcover, and will actively do so! The perfect insurance company

Jo and Darren and all of the staff at Pedal Cover are beyond helpful. With so many insurance companies you dread having to phone up to get a quote, but calling Pedal Cover could not be more different. Its a pleasure to phone up with a query because you feel like they actually care, want to help and want the best for their customers. Knowledgable, responsive, personal service and great people

I met Darren at Velothon Wales in July 2017. He is passionate about cycling, very knowledgable and creative to ensure I got the right insurance for me at a very competitive price. Darren is a genuinely nice guy, he followed up on his commitments and was happy to offer additional advice. Since taking out my main house and bike insurance with a Pedal Cover, I needed race insurance and the team were able to sort this out for me very quickly and easily.
