Review of the Pedalcover, Bike & Home Insurance:

Pedalcover is easily the best insurance for cyclists.

If you have looked at getting insurance for your expensive bikes with other companies you will have been dismayed at the high cost per bicycle. When you look at Pedalcover, you will instantly be surprised at the affordability of insuring several high value bikes AND you home. The total will probably be less than you are currently paying for your home alone. This then leads you to wonder how legitimate or reliable this insurance may be, and make you reluctant to leave your long term, well known yet much more expensive companies. Well, I took the plunge, and even though I have yet to find out how smoothly a claim might go (and hopefully won’t need to), every indication is that this is a good company to deal with. Contact is much faster and friendlier than with the big companies, plus they keep in touch with emails relating to aspects of cycling which may be relevant to you. I have no regrets switching to Pedalcover. Reviewed on: 23rd September 2022

Cycle friendly house insurance

Thankfully we have not had reason to make a claim, so can't comment on that aspect. My only dealing was arranging our house and cycle insurance. Great cover for bikes and house/contents where others are much more expensive

Easy to setup, quick quote, everything explained in full and honestly. No problem with questions/clarifying policy points. Not had to claim (hopefully I won't need to!), but getting everything in order was so simple compared to other insurers, particularly where expensive bikes were concerned (as well as other items like jewellery). Cannot complain at all. Easy to get hold of and very friendly too - didn't feel like I was dealing with a large company at all and the staff really know what they're talking about. For cyclists, simply the best

After being a. Compulsive insurance switcher before I am now in my third year with Pedalcover I cannot fault them one bit, initially they where significantly cheaper than my previous renewal quote with far more comprehensive cover, then at both renewals the premium has remained the same, no silly games like other companies pay hiking prices so you have to haggle back down Add in unbeatable cover for expensive bikes away from home underwritten by a leading insurance supplier and fantastically helpful customer service (it's nice to speak to a human on the phone, first time without pressing a long combinations of buttons and waiting on hold for eternity) and I would recommend them to anyone A couple of years ago I had to make a relatively small contents claim, the process was easy, friendly and super quick to get resolved, far removed from some of my previous experiences with other providers I have also used Darren at Pedalcover (see how many other insurance companies can you be on first name terms with!) to broker extreme sports travel cover and again found them to be unbeatable A super friendly, helpful and comprehensive team that make you feel like you are part of an exclusive 'family' rather than another customer Reviewed on: 11th July 2017
