Worst car insurance company ever!

Worst car insurance company ever!!!!!!!! More expensive than anyone else on the insurance market. Avoid this company. Low quality of customer service. We bought car insurance, the amount was twice as much as other companies, we decided to cancel this insurance, so they charged another 60 pounds for cancellation. In one month they charged us over £240, which is outrageous. Avoid this company!!!!!!!!! On a Trust Pilot rewiew this company has 1.1 star (99 % negative rewiews). Absolutely awful company please avoid at all costs. Not one to usually leave reviews, Infact this is my first review however this truly is one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. I purchased my car insurance with them and for the first 7 days all seemed fine, however after 7 days I was contacted to say they needed a picture of my driving license (I have just moved house and it got lost in the move). So I contacted them and they said not to worry - I had 28 days to send the picture. No one made any note of my call. Another few days later I got a notification to say if I didn’t upload the driving license within 7 days the policy would be cancelled. So I called again - I was trying to move house and run a company so I did unfortunately not have much time to stay on hold so I pressed option 1 for a call back 3 days in a row and got nothing until day 4 (have offered to send my phone bill as proof of this and to the company but they didn’t want to know) I also emailed every day which they are claiming they didn’t receive (again have offered to forward these but they didn’t want to know). Eventually when I spoke to someone I had been so worried I had obviously had to take out a new insurance policy with another company as I was to worried I wouldn’t get hold of someone in time. When someone eventually called me back they wanted to charge me £220 cancellation on top of the £220 deposit I had already paid, £440 for essentially two weeks car insurance. I asked to speak to the manager as I thought this was extremely unfair, they assured me the manager would call me back at 10am the following day but nothing happened. So I requested more call backs and emailed several times until the following Wednesday I eventually got a call back and got through to a manager who was quite honestly the rudest man I have ever spoken too, I have never felt so belittled. He told me if it was urgent ‘i should have waited on hold’ when I said I hadn’t had any call backs as requested - why have a press 1 for a call back option? He refused to help in any way even when I said I physically don’t have the money and now I have had an email saying if they can’t collect the £220 out of my bank (which they can’t because I don’t have it) it will be passed into bailiffs and more charges will be incurred - more money I don’t have after having to re start a whole company. I am just so disheartened by the whole thing and feel very let down by this company, I am so sad to have to do this, I have contacted trading standards and they are going to look through my evidence but it could take weeks and god knows what the charges will be by then. I have the names of the people I dealt with at the company but don’t feel it’s fair to post as maybe they are just in a position where they can’t help, but I just feel they could have been kinder given I was in tears on the phone over the whole thing. AVOID Con Men - Please Read -

Quote you online, take your deposit, and then text you stated you're not insured until you have spoke to an advisor. Then you spend hours on the phone where they requote you and massively inflate the price. Finally, if you take their insurance, they then email you the policy conditions asking for 7 different documents to validate your insurance. If you try to cancel, they keep over 60% of your deposit. Terrible insurance

Hold time on phone: expect to wait 40 min before call answered or someone will answer after 20 min and then put you back in que Hidden charges: they find an insurance company for you (supposedly) and then apparently finance (use a loan) to pay for the insurance which apparently means you’ll be paying more than What you agreed. Beware: they twist it so that you don’t understand what you’re doing. Service: been told that I’d get a call back so many times but never got a call back. Data protection: I was refunded 100 pound due to Right Choice insurance disclosing personal information to someone else who they “thought” was me and none of the data protection questions were followed appropriately. Scam: they quote you a price and then at end of policy you’ll end up paying more than what they quoted. I’ve took it to financial ombudsmen services and if I were you; Recommendation: stay well clear of them. Trust me, it’s the worst company I’ve ever dealt with Reviewed on: 21st September 2018

Awful, awful, awful.

These gave me the cheapest price for car insurance. However, they completely mis-sold it, I was unaware of what documentation they required, they never asked my permission for anything to do with the account, they'd speak to anyone about it and in the end, when I wanted to cancel, tried taking a lot of money off me even though it was their lack of communication with me that was the issue. A quick call to the ombudsman seemed to make them come to their senses and they dropped all the charges they were trying to make me pay for their own mistakes. Reviewed on: 14th November 2017

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT GET INSURANCE WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! THEY ARE CRIMINALS!!!! My partner was quoted an amount for a policy online and decided to go ahead with purchasing the policy. He was then charged a deposit amount of hundreds of pounds for this policy. After having money taken off him for the deposit, he was told that his insurance would not be valid until an advisor had phoned him and he had received his policy documents. He decided to phone them to save time. SAVE TIME? HOW WRONG WE WERE. After being on hold for way over an hour, he finally got through to an advisor. He was told by the advisor that his online quote had gone up by £1000! And that he was to pay an additional £200 in deposit! If he did not accept this then they would not insure him. He of course declined this amount as the quote had gone up so significantly. They would then not insure him. But they have his policy deposit money! When he asked how long it would take to for the money for the deposit to be refunded into his bank account, he was told it will take 7-14 days to be refunded! AWFUL!!!! Taking funds from bank accounts as a deposit when the policy had not actually been set up yet !!! In fact ... The policy price was to be increased but still they have taken money for the deposit !!!! Avoid avoid avoid. THEY ADVERTISE A QUOTED PRICE AND THEN LET YOU BUY IT .. FOR YOU THEN TO BE TOLD THAT THE QUOTE HAS GONE UP. But yet they still take your depoist. This company will cause you nothing but stress and an empty pocket. Now my partner cannot insure his car until the deposit for the original online quotation has been refunded in up to 14 days. Poor customer service

After I've been on some comparing sites to find a car insurance I choosed right car insurance. I've tried to make it online and I supposed to wait for one of the staff to call me to start my cover. After 8 hours of waiting for their call and 1 hour waiting on the phone to answer somebody answered and told a more that double price. The staff didn't tried to help me at all and didn't really explained why the price was more than double than the price from the comparing site. I refused to pay that Ridiculous price but they took the first amount of money which I've agreed online. I'm very disappointed and I won't recommended to nobody. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2017

Disappointing

I was paying more in renewing with this company and I was able to addd additional drivers to my cover or change my direct debit date. Nothing but a big inconvenience and cost me more in the end. Reviewed on: 1st August 2017
