Do not pay them a penny

It was 13 days after l had a policy with them. There was a burning smell in the kitchen, l was expecting smo to come and check the washing machine, but they said l can not make a claim before 14days. Also, even if you cancel your policy in 14days they don't refund your money cos you made a claim- a claim that had no cost to them but £68 to you. If they had sent out an engineer for it, l would understand the cost, but they didn't. You do not know when your only 2yrs old washing machine will get broken which comes with 10year parts guarantee anyway. Finally my husband realised that the smell was not actually coming from the washing machine. So it cost us £68 in 14 days to have a policy with them. I feel like ripped off. Do not trust them, and read any Terms&Conditions very carefully before clicking on it! Reviewed on: 23rd October 2019

Appalling customer service!! 5 months to replace a hob!!

They couldn't get one thing right, just a catalogue of errors. Quick to take the excess at the start then 4 months of frustration, wrong goods, broken goods, ignored emails and false promises. No one took ownership or responsibility for our claim. Then suddenly got a cheque in the post so we could buy it ourselves - no apology, explanation or recompense!! Incompetent and rubbish service!! You should also read the small print about goods over a certain age not being covered - told us that about our washing machine AFTER we gave the details and the premium!!! easy

Manageable

Beware of the T&C's! Corrupt company

This is a company which takes your monthly premiums & when you make a claim, treats you like a criminal. Including rude customer service advisors both by phone & email, losing your documents proving purchase ownership etc when you have already provided them. The worst is their T&C's which require high excess payments for a claim to have an appliance just repaired, not replaced! It's not financially viable or in a customer's interest to pay a premium plus a high excess charge, £75, for a repair- when one could keep savings aside & call out an engineer for less or even replace an appliance for less when taking into account 1-2 years of monthly premiums.! Awful company & I'm in the process of cancelling all my 4 appliances with them & moving to another company. Take note this company's T&C's are Not transparent & avoid! looking for appliance insurance all the bits you would expect .no call out fees. replacement parts or complete unit, very easy to use web site and cheaper by far than others. i added in my microwave and still saved £6.76 a month 0r £81 a year compared to my renewal from else where Reviewed on: 12th September 2018
