Total waste of time, non existant customer service

I wanted to transfer an ISA from another provider to Trading 212 but was not able to as the bank that I had the ISA with was not on Trading 212's list! Their customer service is non existant as you cannot talk to anyone other than by the chat function and even then it takes ages for a response. As they were not able to do what I wanted, I asked them to delete all my info (NI no, dob, address, copy D/L etc etc) from their records and was very displeased when I was told they could not do so for 7 years due to regulations!!! We are constantly working to expand the list of supported providers, but this process can sometimes take time. Regarding our customer service, our chatbot is programmed to provide the most relevant information as quickly as possible. Even though we are constantly trying to make it better, we understand that live agent support might be needed in certain situations, and we are sorry to hear your interaction with our team didn't meet your expectations If you would like to close your account, we can assist with that or you can do it yourself via the Menu. However, as a regulated broker, we are required by law to keep certain information for a period of 7 years. This is done to comply with the regulations that we follow. 0% commissions, 5% fixed returns on cash and Pie(s)

I’ve been using Trading212 auto-investment options for my own portfolio for over 2 years now - and the amount of shares available, information on the holdings within an ETF, community news and pie sharing with friends are all options that are fantantic. Compared to other providers for online trading - the fact that Trading212 in itself is free (0% commission) and now offers a 5% on cash holdings via money market funds has been amazing Reviewed on: 5th April 2024

It’s been mostly good, but can be better

It’s been mostly good. However there’s always room for improvement. Eg; delays to dividend payment and more transparency on how the fees are calculated, particularly non U.K. stocks. The limit and restrictions to purchase of certain stocks is unusual and seems to happen with very little or no notice. Markets are expected to be volatile at times and there you can’t just place restrictions on stocks because it doesn’t suite your business needs. Reviewed on: 5th April 2024
