They are very convincing when they're selling you a warranty, but my experience changed completely when I needed to make a claim. Instead of honouring the warranty, they came up with four different reasons to reject the exact same claim on different occasions. In my opinion, none of those reasons were valid. One explanation even blamed the fault on the consequences of the fault itself, which made absolutely no sense. I contacted the ombudsman hoping they could help, only to discover this company is not a member of a scheme they oversee, so there was nothing they could do. That left me with the only realistic option of taking legal action, which is expensive and simply not practical for most people. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering this warranty to think twice. You're probably better off putting the money you would have spent on the warranty into a savings account and using it to pay for any repairs yourself. In my experience, you'll likely be better off than relying on this company to honour your claim. Read more Read less

My experience with Warrantywise has been one of the most frustrating customer experiences I have ever had. I purchased a policy in good faith, believing it would protect me from expensive mechanical failures on my Mazda CX-5. When the vehicle developed a genuine fault, diagnostic testing identified multiple issues affecting engine performance, turbocharger operation and the vacuum control system. I submitted a repair request expecting the warranty to help cover the cost of repairing major mechanical components. Instead, my claim was rejected. The reason? The very components identified by the repairer were apparently not covered under my level of cover. According to Warrantywise, the vacuum pump, control valve, vacuum hoses, wiring repairs, turbocharger solenoid and turbo actuator were all excluded. This left me asking a simple question: What exactly is the purpose of paying for a warranty if so many of the components that commonly fail on a modern vehicle are not covered? The sales process gave me confidence that I was buying meaningful protection against costly repairs. The claims process gave me the opposite impression. When I actually needed assistance, I discovered that many of the parts involved in the fault were excluded from cover. I am particularly disappointed because I was previously encouraged to take out additional Warrantywise policies for other vehicles. Based on my experience with this claim, I am extremely relieved that I did not do so. In my opinion, the true value of any warranty is only revealed when you need to make a claim. Unfortunately, my experience has left me feeling that I paid for protection that offered very little practical benefit when a real mechanical problem occurred. I cannot recommend Warrantywise based on my experience and would strongly encourage anyone considering a policy to read every exclusion carefully and make sure they fully understand exactly what is and is not covered before purchasing. Very disappointed. Read more Read less

My experience with Warrantywise has raised serious concerns about their compliance with basic contractual and consumer‑law obligations. The policy was mis‑sold at the point of purchase, something Warrantywise later acknowledged in a recorded call. During the subsequent claim, the company provided inconsistent and misleading information, refused to supply their own process documentation, and failed to respond to a lawful Data Protection request. A valid claim was then rejected on the basis of an “independent” engineer whom Warrantywise themselves selected, instructed, and paid. No diagnostic data, no photographs, and no evidential basis were provided to support the conclusion. By contrast, Porsche—the manufacturer—confirmed there was no legitimate basis for the refusal. Throughout the process, Warrantywise repeatedly changed their position, failed to act with reasonable care and skill, and caused unnecessary delay, leaving me without use of my vehicle for 22 days. In my view, the service I received fell significantly short of what is required under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the terms of the contract. Anyone considering a policy with Warrantywise should be aware of these issues before making a decision. Read more Read less

Had various claims, none of which were ever paid out. WW threw the "fair wear and tear" or "not covered" phrase at me every time. The warranty was not worth the paper it was written on. When I bought a new car in Dec 2025, with a free WW warranty from the dealer, they were on me within hours trying to get me to upgrade. They kept quiet about the 11 months worth of warranty I had left on my previous car until I mentioned it. In spite of the 11 months transferred from my previous car, plus the 6 months I had from the dealer, they discounted only £120 off a £600 12 month warranty. The sums just don't add up. Most of these warranty companies are rip offs - if you're an AA member you may get a better deal with the AA. I have heard ALA Warranty mentioned as a better alternative - not tested though. I had a warranty and ı extended it last month. I'm experiencing problems with the car for the first time and I contacted you. I took the car to the main dealership service center, they checked it and said there was a fault in the multimedia system and that it needed to be replaced. I contacted you, but you rejected my application, saying it was just a loss of image, etc. It's not just a loss of image; the entire multimedia system isn't working. The main dealership also told you this. They called and you said the screen wasn't covered under warranty. It's not just the screen; the entire multimedia system is faulty, and they said this is a systemic fault. You're rejecting it. My lawyer and I have reviewed your policy The problem is not just with the screen's appearance or performance. The problem is that there is an fault in the entire multimedia system The main dealer called you and this time you said it didn't cover the screen. First you said any reduction in performance or appearance of the Display Screen is excluded on all plans and therefore we are unable to authorise your request. After main dealer said system not working completely You said we not covering screen Which main dealer told you all screen unit need to replace which is multimedia Which I got covered I called your company sale team with a different number different name and told them I wanted to get warranty with a different license plate. I recorded everything what they said about cover They confirmed screen is covered under warranty %100 they confirmed over the phone Same policy which I have I record everything You can be sure I will present this as evidence in court. Furious and Deeply Let Down – A Complete Disgrace of a Warranty Provider! I am absolutely furious and beyond disappointed with this so-called warranty company, if i could mark a negative score i would as they don't even deserve a 1 star review. As a trusted small car sales business, we’ve sold their warranties to our customers under the belief that we were offering them reliable, professional cover. That trust has now been completely destroyed. We clearly selected emissions cover when building the warranty and entered the correct vehicle mileage. When a claim was submitted, it was rejected with the excuse that the parts had “reached the end of their life.” This is not only incredibly vague, but a complete contradiction of their own Terms & Conditions — which clearly states in Additional cover Section C, page 8 Emissions failure This is for the repair cost of reconditioning or where a reconditioned part cannot be located, replacing your vehicle's catalytic converter, diesel particulate filter, exhaust gas recirculation valve, oxygen, nitrous oxide or adblue/Eloys sensor, injectors or pump, (CAT, EGR, LAMBDA, NOX), due to your vehicle failing the exhaust emissions test. Section E, page 13 What your warranty does not cover UNLESS THE EMMISSIONS SECTION IS INCLUDED IN YOUR WARRANTY!!! CARBON BLOCKAGE (SOOT BUILD UP) SUCH AS CAT (CATALITIC CONVERTERS) EGR (EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION VALVE) that if a part cannot be repaired, a reconditioned part will be supplied. That clause was simply ignored. We can have the part reconditioned, however they are refusing to pay stating its an end of life part irrespective of the statements above. Section E, Page 13 What your warranty does not cover Worn out parts- Including break disks and drums brake pads and shoes clutch components any part covered by the other plan warranty guarantee or goodwill after settlement. I'm sorry but your contradicting your own statements here in Section C, page 8 Emissions failure This is exactly the sort of disgraceful behavior that gives the motor trade a bad name. It's nothing short of deceptive. We sold these warranties in good faith, and now we’re the ones left looking like liars in front of our customers. Scott, our account manager, made repeated promises over the phone — saying poor reviews were just from customers who hadn't chosen the best level of cover. Well, we did choose the correct cover. And now that a claim has been made, Scott has a script to stick to along with the other colleagues in the office about the end of life components!! They have recently appeared on the Harry’s Garage YouTube channel and were absolutely torn apart in the comments — and now we know exactly why. The product is completely unreliable, their word means nothing, and the claims process is a sham. To say we feel let down is an understatement. We will no longer be associating our business with this company, and we strongly urge others to do the same. If you care about your customers, do not touch this warranty provider. They are happy to take your money, but when it comes to honoring a claim, they disappear behind loopholes and excuses. Absolutely charming and full of promises at the start and then turns out its all just a big fat Con at the finish. We have cancelled our account, and will no longer be associating our business with the these COWBOYS!! Richard Baxter Director RB Motors Read more Read less
