AVOID THEM What WW don't tell you is that most garages incl main dealers hate dealing with them. My experience with them which is ongoing is that they make the process as hard as possible, hidden behinf BS speak for how much they care. My claim is for three guide pulleys, around £30 each, as one linked claim and the otehr is a totally unrelated thing to do with the steering whyeel, cost over £3K. they are insisting that the claims (they count as 4 clams) are averaged out, ie average of £35+35+35+ £3000. And they are just being a nightmare to deal with. Avoid... find out how much the dealer is paying (if incl at purchase) and ask for the money off instead. My policy is Platinum Plus which dealer paid £2.5K for. All in all they make it a deeply unpleasant, stressful experience. Reviewed on: 23rd October 2026

ABYSMAL. Avoid at all costs

Will do everything possible to avoid paying out. Moves the goalposts to suit themselves and relies on technicalities. It would have been genuinely cheaper for me to not use these as I'd have gone to my own garage rather than one of their expensive approved ones. Somehow, listing a part covered as Electrical System: Alternator, with no other caveats at all, doesn't cover the alternator's electrical system. Figure that one out. I asked for any proof in the cover booklet we're given to say it isn't covered, the response is that its 'not the same part', with absolutely no proof of anything saying otherwise. If you had cover for a lamp and the plug broke, it would be like saying its not covered as the plug isn't part of the lamp. Its connected to it, relies solely on it, and cannot work without it. So how is the thing that powers the alternator not part of the alternator. Nonsense. Scam. Update: second request put in for a different fault. Got the garage to write out a diagnostic to send before repairs. Went through the full proceedure as requested. Still rejected. Its frankly pathetic. They do not actually cover anything. This may be the worst company I've ever known. 1 star is too generous. Beyond abysmal. Reviewed on: 22nd October 2026

Warrantywise Avoid.

AVOID,AVOID.AVOID - BUYER BEWARE - Don't waste your monthly money its a scam. I took this policy out some 3 years years ago in good faith with the absolute guarantee and assurance that the policy was a like for like warranty to Bentley. I've paid monthly with the comfort of knowing I was covered should anything go wrong. Well it did and be aware that you won't be covered fully. Out of a £3800 bill I eventually received £1200 after lots of hassle and inconvenience. They wanted unecessary paperwork to the depth of excessive photographs etc. They delayed payments with alleged lost cheques, eventually after being told that they don't do BACs transfers by several people as they dont have the facilty to do so, they did! Be careful and check all the small print as the agreement is not favoured towards the consumer at all! Reviewed on: 6th October 2026

We have had multiple warranties over the past 8 to 10 years spending thousands of pounds ££££s with Warranty Wise. First problem that we have ever contacted them about. They have messed us about for 1 Complete month. This is a 21 reg ford Transit commercial vehicle and this is part of my business they’ve left us with a broken down vehicle after 1 month or 21 plate for Transit has got a full service history these people take your money promise you everything but they have no intention of helping. You only have highly skilled trained professionals to sell you the Warranty in the first place and then secondly has technicians to write reports that suit their need to refuse any claim it is a diabolical deliberate scam, Conning hard-working people out of their hard earned cash and leaving them to face expensive bills that should’ve been covered under Warranty. SCAM Do not waste your money. You might as well throw it down the drain if you give it to Warranty Wise you are not covered. They will find a way out. Your repairs will not be done in the event of any issue with your vehicle. ‼️‼️‼️SCAM Reviewed on: 4th September 2026

Don't waste your money with this company.

Don't waste your money with this company. They are very convincing when they're selling you a warranty, but my experience changed completely when I needed to make a claim. Instead of honouring the warranty, they came up with four different reasons to reject the exact same claim on different occasions. In my opinion, none of those reasons were valid. One explanation even blamed the fault on the consequences of the fault itself, which made absolutely no sense. I contacted the ombudsman hoping they could help, only to discover this company is not a member of a scheme they oversee, so there was nothing they could do. That left me with the only realistic option of taking legal action, which is expensive and simply not practical for most people. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering this warranty to think twice. You're probably better off putting the money you would have spent on the warranty into a savings account and using it to pay for any repairs yourself. In my experience, you'll likely be better off than relying on this company to honour your claim. Reviewed on: 29th July 2026

Complete waste of money, they reject everything

My experience with Warrantywise has been one of the most frustrating customer experiences I have ever had. I purchased a policy in good faith, believing it would protect me from expensive mechanical failures on my Mazda CX-5. When the vehicle developed a genuine fault, diagnostic testing identified multiple issues affecting engine performance, turbocharger operation and the vacuum control system. I submitted a repair request expecting the warranty to help cover the cost of repairing major mechanical components. Instead, my claim was rejected. The reason? The very components identified by the repairer were apparently not covered under my level of cover. According to Warrantywise, the vacuum pump, control valve, vacuum hoses, wiring repairs, turbocharger solenoid and turbo actuator were all excluded. This left me asking a simple question: What exactly is the purpose of paying for a warranty if so many of the components that commonly fail on a modern vehicle are not covered? The sales process gave me confidence that I was buying meaningful protection against costly repairs. The claims process gave me the opposite impression. When I actually needed assistance, I discovered that many of the parts involved in the fault were excluded from cover. I am particularly disappointed because I was previously encouraged to take out additional Warrantywise policies for other vehicles. Based on my experience with this claim, I am extremely relieved that I did not do so. In my opinion, the true value of any warranty is only revealed when you need to make a claim. Unfortunately, my experience has left me feeling that I paid for protection that offered very little practical benefit when a real mechanical problem occurred. I cannot recommend Warrantywise based on my experience and would strongly encourage anyone considering a policy to read every exclusion carefully and make sure they fully understand exactly what is and is not covered before purchasing. Very disappointed. Reviewed on: 2nd June 2026

Avoid Avoid Avoid

My experience with Warrantywise has raised serious concerns about their compliance with basic contractual and consumer‑law obligations. The policy was mis‑sold at the point of purchase, something Warrantywise later acknowledged in a recorded call. During the subsequent claim, the company provided inconsistent and misleading information, refused to supply their own process documentation, and failed to respond to a lawful Data Protection request. A valid claim was then rejected on the basis of an “independent” engineer whom Warrantywise themselves selected, instructed, and paid. No diagnostic data, no photographs, and no evidential basis were provided to support the conclusion. By contrast, Porsche—the manufacturer—confirmed there was no legitimate basis for the refusal. Throughout the process, Warrantywise repeatedly changed their position, failed to act with reasonable care and skill, and caused unnecessary delay, leaving me without use of my vehicle for 22 days. In my view, the service I received fell significantly short of what is required under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the terms of the contract. Anyone considering a policy with Warrantywise should be aware of these issues before making a decision. Reviewed on: 14th March 2026

Not worth the money

Paid £1100 for a 36 month plan in late 2023. Had various claims, none of which were ever paid out. WW threw the "fair wear and tear" or "not covered" phrase at me every time. The warranty was not worth the paper it was written on. When I bought a new car in Dec 2025, with a free WW warranty from the dealer, they were on me within hours trying to get me to upgrade. They kept quiet about the 11 months worth of warranty I had left on my previous car until I mentioned it. In spite of the 11 months transferred from my previous car, plus the 6 months I had from the dealer, they discounted only £120 off a £600 12 month warranty. The sums just don't add up. Most of these warranty companies are rip offs - if you're an AA member you may get a better deal with the AA. I have heard ALA Warranty mentioned as a better alternative - not tested though. I bought the car in September and it had no problems until now. I had a warranty and ı extended it last month. I'm experiencing problems with the car for the first time and I contacted you. I took the car to the main dealership service center, they checked it and said there was a fault in the multimedia system and that it needed to be replaced. I contacted you, but you rejected my application, saying it was just a loss of image, etc. It's not just a loss of image; the entire multimedia system isn't working. The main dealership also told you this. They called and you said the screen wasn't covered under warranty. It's not just the screen; the entire multimedia system is faulty, and they said this is a systemic fault. You're rejecting it. My lawyer and I have reviewed your policy The problem is not just with the screen's appearance or performance. The problem is that there is an fault in the entire multimedia system The main dealer called you and this time you said it didn't cover the screen. First you said any reduction in performance or appearance of the Display Screen is excluded on all plans and therefore we are unable to authorise your request. After main dealer said system not working completely You said we not covering screen Which main dealer told you all screen unit need to replace which is multimedia Which I got covered I called your company sale team with a different number different name and told them I wanted to get warranty with a different license plate. I recorded everything what they said about cover They confirmed screen is covered under warranty %100 they confirmed over the phone Same policy which I have I record everything You can be sure I will present this as evidence in court.
