ABYSMAL. Avoid at all costs

Will do everything possible to avoid paying out. Moves the goalposts to suit themselves and relies on technicalities. It would have been genuinely cheaper for me to not use these as I'd have gone to my own garage rather than one of their expensive approved ones. Somehow, listing a part covered as Electrical System: Alternator, with no other caveats at all, doesn't cover the alternator's electrical system. Figure that one out. I asked for any proof in the cover booklet we're given to say it isn't covered, the response is that its 'not the same part', with absolutely no proof of anything saying otherwise. If you had cover for a lamp and the plug broke, it would be like saying its not covered as the plug isn't part of the lamp. Its connected to it, relies solely on it, and cannot work without it. So how is the thing that powers the alternator not part of the alternator. Nonsense. Scam. Update: second request put in for a different fault. Got the garage to write out a diagnostic to send before repairs. Went through the full proceedure as requested. Still rejected. Its frankly pathetic. They do not actually cover anything. This may be the worst company I've ever known. 1 star is too generous. Beyond abysmal. Reviewed on: 22nd October 2026
