Not worth the money

Paid £1100 for a 36 month plan in late 2023. Had various claims, none of which were ever paid out. WW threw the "fair wear and tear" or "not covered" phrase at me every time. The warranty was not worth the paper it was written on. When I bought a new car in Dec 2025, with a free WW warranty from the dealer, they were on me within hours trying to get me to upgrade. They kept quiet about the 11 months worth of warranty I had left on my previous car until I mentioned it. In spite of the 11 months transferred from my previous car, plus the 6 months I had from the dealer, they discounted only £120 off a £600 12 month warranty. The sums just don't add up. Most of these warranty companies are rip offs - if you're an AA member you may get a better deal with the AA. I have heard ALA Warranty mentioned as a better alternative - not tested though.
